We know media.

We know how to tell a story to garner maximum media visibility. We work with you to achieve your communications and marketing goals and to map out a strategic communication program that fits into the overall corporate cultural and just makes sense. We understand what makes a story newsworthy – national (and local) and we have the connections
and moxie to get you noticed.

We know how to connect the dots.

We seamlessly create opportunities by making connections including non-profit and corporate partnerships, celebrity partnerships and new business opportunities.

We know celebrities.

We understand how to intrigue them, engage them and work with them. And, we know how to work with their teams.
Bringing a celebrity element to a program, cause, product or event can create visibility and excitement — when done right. But remember, celebrities are the fondant on your delicious cake. We work with you to create the right recipe for a delectable outcome.

Our Name

Why STARdhar? The name “Tara” has multiple meanings in different cultures. Founder and President Tara Dhar was blessed with a name that truly embodies her personality – fun, versatile, strong and always striving to shine and bring meaning to her work.

In Gaelic, “Tara” is the “earth” symbolizing life, growth and strength, and in Hindi and Sanskrit, “Tara” is a bright shining “star.” For Tara Dhar an all-American girl with a diverse background that includes an eclectic mix of Indian, Irish, Norwegian and Welsh, naming her first company STARdhar is a tribute to her late Indian-born father and the perfect melding of a public relations and marketing career built on bringing glitz, glamour and a bit of “star dust” to non-profit, consumer marketing and media campaigns.
